CONSTRUCTION QUALITY MANAGER
PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT – NORTH LONDON

We’re seeking a Construction Quality & Gateway Records Manager to drive excellence across every stage of the build, ensuring safety, compliance, and craftsmanship are second to none. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections across active residential sites, ensuring work aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and Building Regulations.
- Audit QA and BSR documentation throughout each build stage, verifying accuracy and completeness in line with Gateway 3 requirements.
- Support site teams in creating and maintaining project Quality Plans and ensure consistent monitoring across developments.
- Review materials and workmanship to guarantee compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Identify non-conformances or defects, coordinating corrective and preventive actions as required.
- Attend Building Safety Act duty holder meetings and sign off hold points for Gateway data collection.
- Ensure all inspections and testing are completed, recorded, and submitted in line with the ‘Golden Thread’ principles.
- Verify competency documentation for all consultants and contractors and ensure records are fully compliant.
- Collaborate closely with Construction and Technical teams to resolve quality and compliance issues promptly.
- Assist in pre-handover inspections and final acceptance procedures.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Inspection, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience within residential construction quality inspection or compliance.
- Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations, Building Safety Act 2022, and Gateway 3 processes.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality assurance procedures.
- Experience with document management systems such as Asite, Viewpoint, or BIM 360 preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and reporting skills.
- ISO 9001 or Building Inspector certification advantageous.
